The Licensing Process - Step 3 Driver Training

Driver Training - $99 per lesson
Driver training is a required course for those under 18. Currently you must complete a minimum of 6 hours with a licensed driving instructor. Two hour lessons are scheduled 7 days a week. Three lessons will meet the state requirement for certification. You must have your permit number and expiration date to schedule any lessons.

An example of weekly scheduling times are: 1pm-3pm, 3pm-5pm, 5pm-7pm, 7pm-9pm or weekends and summer is 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm - 6pm. There are other variations and some instructor availability varies but, you get the idea.

In addition to the required 6 hour course you must complete 50 hours of supervised practice - 10 hours must be at night.

If you have your permit...
After you have completed driver education and received your DMV certificate of completion issued in class (pink or blue form), AND you obtained your driver training enrollment form,  AND enroll in driver training, AND have your permit, you can schedule your lessons here.

If you took driver education elsewhere (not with Driversity) and have your permit from DMV, you will need to complete an enrollment form and submit this with a $30 enrollment fee. The online request form is here. To schedule an appointment go here. To pay for a lesson go here.

If you do not have a permit but took driver ed...
If you took driver education with Driversity or I-Virtual High go here and complete the online request form.

If you took driver education elsewhere outside of Driversity or I-Virtual High...
You must obtain a DMV Certificate of enrollment from the driving school of your choice. This is REQUIRED to obtain your permit. If you need this form go here to complete the online request.

Once you submit this form to Driversity we will process the required paperwork and issue a DMV certificate. This certificate will be sent via U.S. Postal Service on the next business day. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. If you wish to make other arrangements please contact the Antioch office or the Concord office
